However, because our services involve customized website development, our refund policy differs from that of traditional physical products. Please read the following refund terms carefully to help you better understand our policy.
- Refund Policy for Intangible Products
Since Vanessa Murphy provides intangible digital services—such as website development—we generally do not accept refund requests once a project has been initiated and work has begun. This is because customized digital products (such as website design and development) involve a significant investment of time, technical expertise, and resources, which cannot be recouped or resold. - Conditions for Refunds
Although refunds are generally not accepted, we understand that clients may request a refund under special circumstances. The following situations may qualify for a refund:
Project Not Started: If you request a refund before the project has officially commenced, we will issue a full refund.
Failure to Deliver as Agreed: If we fail to deliver the project on time, or if the delivered services do not meet the standards stipulated in the contract, you have the right to request a refund. We will review the situation and determine whether to issue a partial or full refund.
Client Satisfaction Issues: If you have significant dissatisfaction with the services provided (e.g., the design does not meet your requirements, functionality is not working properly, etc.), you may request modifications or a refund within 7 days of the project’s completion. We will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis and make every effort to resolve the issues or offer you a partial refund. - Refund Process
If you wish to request a refund, please follow these steps:
Submit a Refund Request: Send your refund request via email to vanessa@vanessamurphy.net. Please clearly state the specific issues or areas of dissatisfaction, and include relevant project details (such as the contract, project start date, etc.).
Issue Assessment: We will assess your refund request within 5 business days of receipt and contact you to confirm the details of the issue.
Refund Decision: Based on the assessment results, we will decide whether to approve the refund request. If approved, the refund amount will be returned via the original payment method or through another method mutually agreed upon by both parties. - Modifications and Remediation
We are committed to providing every client with the best possible service experience. If you encounter any issues or are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service during the process, please do not hesitate to contact us. Upon receiving your feedback, we will make every effort to implement improvements and provide any necessary revisions. We prioritize client satisfaction and are willing to make adjustments within reasonable limits. - Service Termination
If you decide to terminate the service during the project development phase, fees for the unfinished portion will be settled based on the proportion of work already completed. The completed portion will be charged as agreed, while the unexecuted portion will not be charged; however, payments already made are non-refundable. - Non-Refundable Circumstances
Reasons for which we do not offer refunds include, but are not limited to:
The client requests a refund after changing their requirements or canceling the project.
The client fails to provide timely feedback or necessary materials, resulting in project delays.
The service has been completed and delivered in accordance with the terms of the contract. - Refund Timeframe
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days following the delivery of the project. Refund requests submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. - Legal Liability
Vanessa Murphy is liable only for the services explicitly stipulated in the signed contracts and agreements. We assume no liability—nor do we offer refunds—for project delays or interruptions caused by force majeure events (such as network outages, power failures, etc.). - Modification of Terms
